Dongguk University College of Business Administration Obtains AACSB International Business Education Reaccreditation

On April 21, Dongguk University announced that its College of Business Administration has successfully obtained reaccreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), a global business education accreditation organization.

Established in 1961 in the United States, AACSB is the world’s highest-level business education accreditation body, granting accreditation to the top 5% of over 16,000 business schools worldwide. In South Korea, 18 universities, including Dongguk University, have received this accreditation.

Dongguk University’s College of Business Administration first received AACSB accreditation in 2012 and successfully achieved reaccreditation in 2020 and again in 2025. Notably, the accreditation cycle has been extended from the previous five years to six years.

During the on-site evaluation conducted over two consecutive years starting in 2023, the college received high praise for its educational innovation, enhancement of the global education environment, and its effective learning outcome management system (AoL).

A representative from the College of Business Administration emphasized, “This reaccreditation is a result of our continuous improvement efforts and outstanding achievements in various areas, including curriculum quality, faculty capabilities, learning outcome management (AoL), research performance, practical relevance, and internationalization.”

Dean Jung Wook of the College of Business Administration stated, “Through this reaccreditation, the educational competitiveness and international status of Dongguk University’s College of Business Administration have been officially recognized once again. We will continue to strive for educational innovation and sustainable development to nurture global talents.”

Meanwhile, the College of Business Administration at Dongguk University is committed to fostering global talents by operating various exchange student programs and MBA courses, including those for international students. The application period for the 2025 academic year MBA program runs from May 12 to May 30.
